Charles Rorick
Charles Lee Rorick, beloved husband, father, stepfather, brother, and friend, passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 87. He was born on November 17, 1938 in Fountain, Colorado to Carl and Allina Rorick.

Charles spent most of his life in Westcliffe, Colorado, where he worked alongside his father, Carl, wife, Sherry and son, Steven to build Rorick Ranches.

He is survived by his son, Steven Rorick; his daughter, Charlea Rorick, and his stepson, Gerald Allen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Allina Rorick; his older sisters, Carlene Boyce and Vonda Baerg; and the love of his life, Sherry Rorick.

Charles will be remembered for the life he shared with those he loved and for the special place he held within his family. His greatest love was Sherry, and their life together was an important part of his story. Their headstone reads, “Together we toil, together we rest.” The memories they created and the love he gave to his family will remain with those who knew him.

While his passing leaves a deep emptiness for his family and friends, Charles's memory will continue to live on through his children, stepson, extended family, and all those whose lives he touched. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

A private graveside service will be held on September 20, 2026. A public Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Lange Hall in Westcliffe. A catered lunch will follow the service, allowing family and friends to gather, share memories, and celebrate Charles's life.

May Charles rest peacefully, reunited with Sherry, his loving wife. May the memories he leaves behind bring comfort to all who loved him.
